King’s Leap

King’s Leap is a gallery based in New York owned by Alec Petty. The gallery currently represents 6 artists, many of whom started showing with King’s Leap from its inception and are in direct dialogue with one another. The gallery focuses on painting, sculpture, and conceptual practices. Among the gallery artists’ shared interests are a provocation of existing aesthetic concerns: pushing the formal qualities of traditional mediums as well as the social function of the artist.
